Richard is the Founder and Chairman of THOR Construction, founded in 1980. Through Richard's drive, vision and tenacity, he has developed his organization into a major international force in the construction industry. His commitment to redefining the role of underutilized communities has always set him apart. By setting expectations for excellence and assembling some of the most talented people in the world, Richard and THOR create an extraordinary construction experience above all others. With a half dozen business units and hundreds of employees, Richard is known in his organization as a dedicated leader - one who moves, touches and inspires others - in all his interactions. Today, THOR is one of the largest African American owned companies in America.

Ravi Norman
Chief Executive Officer

Ravi possesses over 16 years of expertise in the areas of strategic management, organizational development and commercial finance. Ravi's dynamic leadership style consists of an optimal mix of macro business strategy, management & organizational theory, operational execution, transparent intents, proactive communication, and measurable outcomes. Ravi has collaborated with several Fortune 500 corporations and non-profits to develop innovative solutions to maximize diversity and inclusion within the supply chain. Ravi's corporate experience includes Norwest Bank, Wells Fargo & Co., and Highland Banks. Ravi's formal education includes degrees in Economics, Business Management, Finance and Strategy.

Matthew Moore
Vice President of Strategy

Matt brings over 8 years of strategic leadership to THOR Construction. Whether from his experiences as an owner representative with MGM Resorts International overseeing multi-million dollar construction and renovation projects, or his combat command experiences in Afghanistan with the United States Army Special Operations Forces. His intuitive and innovative approach to all elements of the business results in efficient processes, reliable solutions and ensured satisfaction. Matt is responsible for all Business Strategy, Development, Marketing, Human Resources and IT initiatives. Matt has a tremendous understanding of the owners expectations and personally makes sure all promises are kept.

Rodrigo Barbosa
Vice President of Management

Rodrigo has over 12 years of experience in the construction industry with a background in architecture and design. His diverse background allows for a well-rounded understanding of the construction industry and coordination of all parties involved in the concept, design and construction process. Rodrigo was responsible for managing multiple teams for projects inside a multibillion-dollar development. He also implemented the Southeast office for THOR Construction, serving fortune 500 companies such as Walt Disney and Target Corporation. Currently Rodrigo is the VP of Management for THOR Construction overseeing the operations and management best practices for the entire company.

Jonas Payne
Vice President of Preconstruction

Jonas Payne has over 15 years in the Construction Industry and has served general contractors, consultants and owners alike in various capacities. Jonas is well versed in all areas of construction and brings significant expertise in logistics, claims and legal actions, contracts, joint ventures, scheduling, project management, design management and process management. Jonas brings the ability to "play any position on the field" with unrivaled capacity. With the ability to run entitlements on an $11B project, manage claims and litigation, manage design or to run a construction division for a top 100 ENR firm with a backlog in excess of $500M, Jonas brings the management expertise to make your vision into reality.

Mike Petersen
Vice President of Concrete Operations

As Vice President of Concrete Operations, Mike brings over 20 years of valuable experience to THOR Construction. Starting in the field as a Superintendent, Mike quickly moved up the ranks to Project Manager of Concrete and now Vice President. He has overseen many high-profile projects with such notable clients as Disney, Regal Cinemas, Tropicana Hotel and Casino, Home Depot, Target Corp and All of the MGM Resorts International properties in Las Vegas, Caesars Palace Casino and multiple mass transit projects. His unsurpassable knowledge of the concrete industry and long list of satisfied clients has established THOR Constructions Concrete Division as a premier supplier.

Robert Scott
Vice President of Finance

Bob has brought well over a decade of accounting experience to THOR Construction. Having started as a bookkeeper and working his way to Vice President of Finance, he has helped bring THOR Construction into the 21st century with many technological initiatives. Bob makes the extra effort to ensure that our clients and employees have the resources needed to provide superior and efficient service.

Martin Matheny
Vice President of Joint Ventures

With 20 years experience, providing overall leadership for on-site field administration, supervision, and technical management for all construction operations is all in a day's work for Martin. His ability to organize our field operations is invaluable. Martin simultaneously oversees multi-million dollar projects ranging from heavy industrial to the hospitality and gaming industry.

Pamela McNeal
Director of Cash Management

Pamela has become a construction professional with over nine years of experience. Her background starts with THOR as a jobsite manager on the high profile MGM Grand Sky Lofts project in Las Vegas. Pamela has overseen various aspects of the company's growth spanning the spectrum from administrative clerk to Director of Cash Management. Pamela's amazing talents are superseded by the commitment of her dedicated team.

Dara Lesmeister
Safety Director

Dara brings over 15 years of vast Construction Safety experience working for Owners and General Contractors within many different realms including power plants, hotel-casino's, remodels and various other types of new construction. Dara transferred to a job from Washington State and hasn't left Las Vegas since. In addition to THOR Construction, Dara was part of the contract team at McCarran International Airport's Terminal #3 project which installed the baggage handling system consisting of 6 miles of conveyors.

Todd Eggleston
Southwest Regional Director

Todd brings to THOR over 30 years experience in the construction industry. With a strong experience in field and project management background in high-end residential, commercial, gaming and hospitality. His resume includes numerous multimillion dollar projects. Todd has the ability to manage multiple team members and projects simultaneously, never losing sight of exceeding the owner's expectation of performance and successful completion of each and every project.

Tim Robertson
Midwest Regional Director

Tim brings over 18 years of construction experience to THOR from concrete superintendent to design, architecture and construction management of billion dollar casinos. He has experience nationwide with numerous building techniques, methods and has since become one of the best at value engineering while securing the utmost on behalf of the client's construction dollar. He performs critical path scheduling and management and continually pushes field staff to achieve the best results. His experience ranges from design and construction of casino space to medical facilities as well as sporting complexes to food and beverage with several fortune 500 clients.
